Nissan Rogue - how to change key fob battery

In this article, you are going to learn how to change the battery for your Nissan Rogue key fob (photo 1). You need a small flat head screwdriver like this (photo 2).

You also need the CR2032 battery (photo 3) which I will post the product link below.

If you look over here (photo 4), there is a small area for you to open the key fob. Use the screwdriver, turn it and carefully create a small gap (photo 5).

Beware not to damage the electrical components inside. Once you did that, you will create a small gap on the side (photo 6). Follow along the gap and carefully open it.

After you open it, you have two parts (photo 7), one with the battery, the other one has the electrical components which are NOT secure to the key fob shell. It could easily fall out, so be careful. Get the battery out and put the new one in (photo 8).
